Mrs. John Brown of Savanna dies Mrs. John Brown, 59, died in the city hospital at 9:46 a.m. Sunday following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held in St. John's Catholic church at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. A.E. O'Brien in charge of requim mass. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.
Margaret Maude McGrath was born Jan. 12, 1881 in Andover, Iowa, daughter of John and Margaret Dolan McGrath. She was married in 1909 to John Brown and has lived in Savanna many years.
Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Miss Mary Brown of Savanna; one sister, Mrs. C.R. Kross of Clinton; two brothers, F.H. McGrath, Clinton and E.V. McGrath of Milledgeville, and other relatives.
