Visitation: 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Leo Patterson of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling, Ill., officiating

MORRISON, Ill. — Kathryn L. Spotts, 50, of Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison, and formerly of Sterling, Ill., died Thursday at the nursing home.

Pallbearers will be Mark Mathew, Kent Mathew, Luis Marciano, Mike Lee, Brian Bonneur and Gary Meyer.

Burial will be in Round Grove Cemetery, Morrison.

She was born Jan. 19, 1956, in Morrison to Gerald W. and Patricia J. Batcheller Mathew.

She was educated in the Round Grove and Morrison grade schools and was a Morrison High School graduate.

She was employed by J.C. Penny’s Department Store, Sterling, and National Manufacturing, Sterling. She most recently was employed by Wahl Clipper Corporation, Sterling.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynn H. Spotts, Morrison; her parents, Gerald and Patricia Mathew, Morrison; two sisters, Karen (Sam) Marciano, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Julie (Todd) Engstrom, Rock Island, Ill.; a brother Richard (Jan) Mathew of Forsythe, Ill.; five nieces; and two nephews.

Memorials can be made to Christ Lutheran School, Sterling.
