Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Porter, pastor of Abiding Word Christian Center, Sterling, will be officiating.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
MORRISON, Ill. — Daniel J. Carroll, 51, of Morrison, died Wednesday at Morrison Community Hospital.
Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
He was born May 20, 1955, in Morrison to Dan and Dorothy Van Kampen Carroll.
He was educated in the Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School.
He was employed with the Jack and Jill Grocery Store, Morrison, Eagle’s Grocery Store, Sterling, Ill.; P and P Tool, Morrison, for 10 years; and Spangler’s Landscaping and Garden Center, Morrison.
He was a drag racer.
Survivors include four sisters, Linda DeGroot and Donna (Glenn) Landherr, both of Morrison, Janice (Don) Stage of Fulton, Ill., and Mary (Larry) Eads of Morrison; one brother, Robert (Gloria) Carroll of Morrison; and his stepmother, Katherine Carroll of Elizabeth, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison.
