3 JULY 1997 The Quad City Times Services for Marcella M. Ruge, 79, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Friday at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport, with a vigil service at 4 p.m. Mrs. Ruge died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. Marcella Kearney was born Sept. 22, 1917, is DeWitt, Iowa. She married Harold Ruge in 1942 in Davenport. He died in 1986. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Care and Share program or the Salvation Army. Survivors include daughters, JaAnn Murphy, Brown Deer, Wis., and Janet Ruge, Charleston, W.Va.; two granddaughters; a sister, Margaret McGivern, Davenport; and a brother, Harold Kearney, Thiensville, Wis.
