SERVICES: Private.

CLINTON — Gary Eugene Vogt, 69, of Clinton, died Monday.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Mound.

He was born Nov. 2, 1936, at Jane Lamb Hospital, Clinton, to Gerald and LuVerne Vogt.

He attended Campbell School, north of Grand Mound. He graduated from Calamus Consolidated School in 1955. He attended Valparasio Technical School, Indiana.

He joined the U.S. Navy and was sent to flight training for the Blue Angels in Pensacola, Fla. He also was based at a Navy base in Norfolk, Va.

He later moved to California and worked in electronics repair.

Survivors include three sisters, Cathy Petersen of Low Moor, Imogene Reggie of Scranton, Pa., and Betty Braet of Billings, Mont.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
