LANARK, Ill. — Mary Rae Scott, 74, of Aurora, Ill., and formerly of Lanark, died Wednesday at her home.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Gratiot, Wis.
She was born May 26, 1932, in Havre, Mont., to Enrico and Mary Mazzuca Piane. She married Kenneth Scott on Jan. 3, 1953, in Havre. He died in 1977.
She graduated from Buffalo (Mont.) High School in 1951.
She and her husband lived in Portland, Ore.; Warren and then Lanark, Ill.
She worked with Elkay in Lanark and Savanna, Ill., for 18 years before retiring in 1997.
She was a member of Ss. John and Catherine Catholic Church, Mount Carroll, Ill.
Survivors include five children, Marietta (Dent) Preston of Maple Park, Ill., Glenn (Kim) Scott of Monroe, Wis., Maureen (Maureen Kincaid) Scott of Aurora, Michael (Heather) Scott of Forreston, Ill., and Melissa Scott of Amory, Miss.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in her name to St. Jude-Havre Central Middle School, 420 Seventh Ave., Havre, MT 59501.
