SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
CLINTON — Cecil E. Andrew, 96, of Clinton, died Monday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, near Anamosa.
She was born Feb. 20, 1910, in Anamosa to Tom and Mabel Zimmer Ozburn. She married Fred Latimer Andrew on Dec. 8, 1928, in Cedar Rapids. He died in 1997.
She was educated in DeWitt schools.
She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday school, was a deaconess of the church and was a member of the Naomi Circle at the church. She also was active with the Parent Teacher Association, Clinton, and Clinton Horseman’s Association.
She was a sales clerk with Martin-Morris and other downtown stores for several years. She retired in 1972 from Darlene’s.
Survivors include one daughter, Sybil (Noel) Rasmussen of Camanche; one son, Jason (Jean) Andrew of Linn Creek, Mo.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, three grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church
