NIXA, Mo. — Robert Lee Jack Kammerer, 71, of Nixa, died Sept. 18 at his daughter’s home.
Interment will be in McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa.
Pallbearers will be Kevin, Curt and Steve Kammerer and Pat, Patrick and Kyle Nagle.
He was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Clinton to John and MaLinda Paulson Kammerer. He married Shirley Cavanaugh on Nov. 20, 1954.
He worked as a salesman with Wonder bread in Clinton for many years. After moving to Nixa in 1986, he worked as a carrier with the Springfield (Mo.) News-Leader for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Lisa (Patrick) Nagle of Nixa, Kevin (Jennifer) Kammerer of Spokane, Wash., and Curt (Kathy) Kammerer of Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Kaczmarek of Nixa; three brothers, Harold of LeClaire, Cliff of San Diego and Richard of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
