SERVICES: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
CLINTON — Harold Roger Evers Sr., 81, of Clinton, died Tuesday at Mercy South Hospital.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
He was born July 8, 1925, in Clinton to Ejner and Lucy Simons Evers. He married Shirley Krebs on June 29, 1947, in Clinton. She died in 2003.
He was educated in Clinton schools.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was employed with Clinton Corn Processing for more than 37 years before retiring in 1982.
He was a member of Emulation Lodge 255 AF&AM, KAABA Shrine and York Rite Bodies.
Survivors include sons, Tim and Harold Evers Sr., both of Clinton, and Jim Evers of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Harvey (Bonnie) Evers of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
