William Robert Davis Jr.

Visitation: 11 a.m. today at Skradski Funeral Home, 340 N. Sixth St., Kansas City.

SERVICES: 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — William Robert Davis Jr., 61, of Kansas City, died Sunday at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

He was born Oct. 6, 1944, in Clinton to William R. and Audrey Dykes Davis.

He lived in Kansas City most of his life.

He was a professional truck driver with Ellsworth and Tollie Trucking Lines prior to his retirement in 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Davis; two children, Sheila (Mark) Reccord and James (Donna) Davis; two brothers, Donald (Marge) of Clinton and Tom (Ann) Dykes of Salem, Ark.; three half brothers, Daniel, Wayne and Larry Davis; one half sister, Barbara Alan; four grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and half sister.
