SERVICES: Private services will take place Monday.
CLINTON — Esther E. Berner, 92, of Clinton, died Thursday at her home.
Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
She was born July 31, 1914, near Spragueville to Mr. and Mrs. William Carstens. She married LaVerne Berner. He died Jan. 12, 1981.
She attended country school in Spragueville.
The couple farmed near Elvira until they retired in 1976.
She is survived by her son William R. Berner, of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and six sisters.
Death date: Sept. 7, 2006.
