Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
CLINTON — Ruth D. Flack, 78, of Clinton, died Tuesday at her home.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche.
Pallbearers will be Ronald J., Roger, Orlin and Brent Mitchell, Billy Bengtson, Ronald A. Mitchell and John Buckley.
She was born Oct. 28, 1927, in Camanche to Homer and Sarah Cleveland Fisher. She married Ronald Mitchell in November 1948 in Whiteside County, Ill.; he died in 1964. She later married Dale Flack on Oct. 28, 1973, in Low Moor; he died in 1976.
She was educated in Clinton schools.
She was a welder with the Collis Co. for 18 years.
Survivors include daughters, Kathleen (Mark) Hamrick of Milan, Ill., and Gloria Snodgrass of Clinton; sons, Ronald (Carol) Mitchell of Clinton, Roger (Carole) Mitchell of Fulton, Ill., Marcus (Margie) Mitchell of Clinton, William Mitchell of Houston, Randall Mitchell of Clinton and Orlin (Wendy) Mitchell of Fulton; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Emma Harksen, Dorothy Nielsen and Barbara Booth, all of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents and two brothers.
