Marlow Work, 78, of 919 E. Division Lane, died Monday.

Born in Clinton, Iowa, he had lived in Tacoma 36 years. Mr. Work was a retired employee of the Northern Pacific RAilroad. He was an Army veteran of the First World War and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine J.; a step son, James Deitch of Centralia; two grandchildren and two gr. grandchildren and one gr. gr. grandchild.
