SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. with Dennis Glew officiating.
CLINTON — Stanley C. Sirvid, 83, of Clinton, died Sunday at Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility, Clinton.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
He was born March 21, 1923, in Clinton to Frank and Stella Dement Sirvid. He married Eleanor “Becky” Watson on Feb. 27, 1946 in Maquoketa.
He was employed with Standard Brands, Clinton, for more than 33 years.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Clinton.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Nancy (Steve) Bromley of Clinton and Linda (Tom) Newbanks of Marion; one son; Stanley “Chuck” (Sue) Sirvid Jr. of Clinton; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Judith (Paul) VanKampen of Fulton, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility or First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
