SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday at DeWitt Lutheran Fellowship with the Rev. Paul J. Lang officiating.
DEWITT — Esther Marie Swanson, 85, of DeWitt, died Thursday at her home.
Interment will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
She was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Davenport to Herman and Hilda Mundt. She married Melvin Richard Swanson in Dubuque. He died in 1981.
She and her husband farmed in rural DeWitt from 1962 until their retirement in 1980.
She was a member of DeWitt Lutheran Fellowship.
Survivors include one son, Ronald (June) Swanson of DeWitt; one daughter, Judith Lenth of Davenport; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chester Mundt and Robert Mundt, both of Davenport.
Memorials may be made to DeWitt Lutheran Fellowship.
