Jesse William Queckboerner

BOLIVAR, Mo. — Jesse William Queckboerner, 91, of Bolivar and formerly of Chadwick, Ill., died Saturday at Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar.

Burial will be in Chadwick Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 24, 1914, to Fred and Hattie Queckboerner in Chadwick.

He attended Fairhaven Center School and Chadwick High School.

He married Lula Mae “Lu” Biggin in 1952. She died in 1972. He then married Dorothy Hale Schunemeier in 1978.

He farmed near Fairhaven, Ill., before retiring in 1976. He moved to Missouri in 1977.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Virginia (Henry) Winter of Freeport, Ill.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Sherwood H. Queckboerner of Savanna; and two nieces.
