Owen Herbert, the two day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Carlson of Charlotte passed away Thursday morning in the home of his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Heitt.
The child was born Tuesday, Sept. 1, the first child of Herbert and Bernice Heitt Carlson.
A short prayer service was held in the Heitt home, with the Rev. Karl F. Weltner officiating and burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.
