The Clinton Herald Thursday March 4, 1982 p. 7 Mrs. Margaret Kennedy, 73, formerly of Clinton, died Wednesday in Colona, Ill. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Irenaeus Church with the Rev. James Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Pape Funeral Home where a Christian Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Ralph Bormann, Kenneth Holdgrafer, Donald Fier, Jerry Holdgrafer, Maurice Holdgrafer and Leo Fier. Mrs. Kennedy was born May 19, 1908, in Clinton, to William and Theresa Rose Holdgrafer. She married Marvin Kennedy Jan. 21, 1933, in Clinton. She was a member of St. Irenaeus Churc and Lady of Fatima Society. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Shanahan of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Carlson of Clinton; four sons, James of Marion, Duane of Moscow, Texas, Edward Kenneth of Clinton and William of Colona; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Fier of Maquoketa, Mrs. Lena Fier and Mrs. Eva Bormann, both of Clinton; and three brothers, Tony Holdgrafer of Dubuque, Joseph Holdgrafer of Clinton and Alvie Holdgrafer of Spragueville, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
