SERVICES: Private family service at Zion Presbyterian Church, Schapville, with Pastor Dottie Morizzo officiating. Law-Jones Funeral Home, Elizabeth, is handling arrangements.

ELIZABETH, Ill. — Mary “Mollie” Eda Hunt, 89, of Elizabeth, died Thursday at Galena-Stauss Hospital and Health Care Center, Galena, Ill.

Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens, Arkansas, and a memorial marker will be placed in Lost Mound Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 20, 1916, at Franke’s Homestead, Hanover, Ill., to Albert and Bessie Bain Francke. She married Eugene “Gene” W. Hunt, on Aug. 4, 1935, in Dixon, Ill.

She was a member of the Schapville, Ill., Zion Presbyterian Church Quilting Circle and the Methodist Church in Elizabeth. She was a past member of the Area Arts Club.

Survivors include two sons, Donald “Bud” W. Hunt of Florida and Dale Hunt of Arkansas; two daughters, Mary Jean Stegman of New Lenox, Ill., and Elizabeth “Betty” A. (Roger) Farrey of Galena; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church, Elizabeth, or Zion Presbyterian Church, Schapville.
