CLINTON — Evelyn M. Everson, 80, of Clinton, died Wednesday at her home.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
She was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Clinton to Christopher Matthieson and Louise Kruse. She married Charles Everson on March 6, 1947, in Iowa City. He died in 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Steve (Lois) Everson of Rolling Meadows, Ill., and David (Susan) Everson of Clinton; two daughters, Sue Everson of Clinton and Dan (Sally) Remrey of Lena, Ill.; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five sisters and one brother.
