Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way, and from 10 a.m. until the funeral Wednesday.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Machen officiating.

CLINTON — Marvin David Hanley, 46, of Clinton, died Saturday at Mercy North Hospital.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by the Clinton AMVETS.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Richmond, Randy Lawton, David Chase, James Odell, Robert Bodeen, Lloyd Hickey, Aric Ohsann and Phil Quint.

He was born Aug. 19, 1959, in Fairfield, Mo., to Howard and Frances Nivnes Hanley.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was employed with Wal-Mart as a team leader for seven years.

Survivors include his fiancee, Laura Chase of Clinton; one son, Justin Hanley of Ottumwa; and his father, Howard Hanley of Marshalltown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

Death date: July 29, 2006
