Cleo Olivia Wilson, age 92, of Clinton, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at the Wyndcrest Nursing Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, August 1st at the Pape Funeral Home with Dennis Glew officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the service time on Tuesday. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Casket bearers will be family and friends of Cleo.
Cleo was born on June 26, 1914 in Clinton, the daughter of Arthur R. and Mable Coy Fegan Wilson. She was a 1932 graduate of Lyons High School and a 1936 graduate of Bissell’s School of Cosmetology in Davenport. Cleo was a beautician in Clinton for 52 years. She was a life long member of Lyons United Methodist Church.
Cleo is survived by one niece, Elizabeth Braunlin of St. Paul, Minnesota, and a grandnephew and niece, Michael and Megan Braunlin, also of St. Paul. Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, and her three sisters: Kathryn M. Braunlin, Eugenia C. Healless and Nathalie R. Hoop all of Clinton.
