Mrs. Herman Dierks, 67, died following a two weeks illness. The body will repose in the family home until Monday Morning. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Pape funeral home with the Rev. F.E. Schoenbohm, Zion Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be in Dierks cemetery near Clinton. Meta Andersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Andersen, was born Sep 2 1877 in Clinton county. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith, on Sept. 26, 1900. She was married to Herman Dierks. She is survived by four sons Stanley, Harold and Delbert of Clinton and Sgt. Vernon Dierks, Lockheed service school, Burbank, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. Eugene McGovern, two sisters, Mrs. George Bott and Mrs. John Bott, one brother, Adolph Anderson and 11 grandchildren, all of Clinton. Her husband, parents, two infant sons, one brother and one sister preceded her in death.
