The Clinton Herald Tuesday January 13, 1948 p. 8 Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Ehlers, 83, who died Monday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Waldorf, 72 Twenty-Second avenue, North, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. John's Lutheran church. The rev. Paul E. Burgdorf, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Born April 6, 1864, in Hampshre township, she was the daughter of Nickolas and Elizabeth Naeve. She was married to Peter Ehlers, May 6, 1885, in Hampshire township and was a member of St. John's Lutheran church. One son, Fred, and one daughter, Mrs. George Waldorf, both of Clinton; three brothers, Chris Naeve, Bryant; John, Charlotte, and Albert, living on a farm west of Clinton; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons in infancy, one daughter, four brother and three sisters.
