The Clinton Daily Herald Thursday May 20, 1897 Mrs. Wilke Ehlers, widow of the late H. Ehlers, died Wednesday morning at the home of her son, Peter Ehlers, five miles west of Lyons. Deceased was born in Schleswig, Germany, and was 74 years old. She leaves seven children, five boys and two girls. Funeral notice will be announced later.
