SERVICES: 1 p.m. Sunday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory.
CLINTON — Phillis A. Duncan, 86, of Clinton, died Thursday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton.
Burial will be in Hams Prairie (Mo.) Cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday.
She was born Oct. 10, 1919, in Chadwick, Ill., to Daniel and Olivia McCune Kness. She married Olin Duncan in Rolla, Mo. He died in 1983.
She was educated in Chadwick schools.
She and her husband owned and operated Duncan’s Department Store, Savanna, for more than 25 years.
She was an active member of the Savanna Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include one sister, Doris Vorst of Clinton; brothers, Glen (Tonda) Kness of Chadwick and Gene Kness of Hams Prairie; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and three sisters.
