Arlene M. Rennecker

ALBANY, Ill. — Arlene M. Rennecker, 82, of Albany, died Tuesday at Mercy North Hospital.

Interment will be in Lusk Memorial Cemetery, Albany.

She was born Dec. 5, 1923, in Sterling, Ill. She married Kenneth W. “K.W.” Rennecker on July 23, 1941, in Fulton, Ill. He died in 1993.

She was educated in rural Whiteside County schools.

She was employed with General Electric Co., Morrison, Ill. After retirement, she worked at Julie’s Cafe, Albany.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann (Don “Dutch”) Letcher and Cheri (Chuck) Dornbush, both of Albany; one son, Rusty (Emalie) Rennecker of Morrison; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola (Robert) Parkinson of Morrison; one brother, Donald (Martha) Dauen of Clinton; and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Lawrence and Shirley Swanson, both of Albany.

Memorials may be made to the Albany Ambulance Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one grandchild and two sisters.

Death date: July 11, 2006

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Machen, pastor of Church of the Open Door in Clinton, officiating.
