The Clinton Herald Tuesday February 22, 1977 p. 10 Paul Ivan Eggers, 57, Route 3, Clinton, died at his home Tuesday. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Russell, Lyons Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland cemetery. Pallbearers will be Irvin Lange, John Horst, Walter Larsen, Louis Kaiser, Philip Strehle, Nick Gordon and Darrell Eggers. He was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Clinton County, the son of Claus and Julie Svensen Eggers. He was a farmer and a member of Lyons Baptist Church. He is survived by his father; a sister, Lydia Eggers, Clinton, and a brother, Harold, Houston, Tex.
