PARAGOULD, Ark. — Charles R. Pickney, 74, of Paragould and formerly of Clinton, died July 3 at his home.
He was a retired agent with Farm Bureau. He spent most of his adult life in insurance and real estate. He worked with Bratton Realty, Paragould. While living in Clinton, he was employed for seven years with Kemper/Fidelity Insurance, Fulton, Ill., moving with the company to Crystal Lake, Ill., in 1974. In 1976, he moved back to Paragould.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Boone Pickeny; four children, Casey (Irene) Pickney of Blumberg, Texas, Mike Pickney of Clinton, Lanie (Don) Raasch of Clinton and Dawn (Dennis) Layer of Jonesboro, Ark.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jo Robinson of Paragould; one uncle, George Pickeny of Paragould; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Clinton Humane Society or a hospice of the donor’s choice.
