James J. Reznik

James J. Reznik, 59, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Bickford Cottage in Clinton. Funeral Services will be 10:30AM Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Prince of Peace Parish, 312 S 4th St, Clinton. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Monday, July 10, 2006 at Lemke Funeral Homes – North Chapel, 2304 N 2nd St. Fr. Thomas Hennen will officiate. Burial will be 11:00AM Wednesday July 12, 2006 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL. Pallbearers will be Allen Fisher, Gordon Selin, Don Ranos, Matt Christy, Thomas Christy and Thomas Kubon.

James Joseph Reznik was born August 30, 1946 to Joseph and Esther (Bradtke) Reznik. He attended St. Andrew Apostle Elementary School and graduated from T.F. North High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He married Deborah Christy in 1973, she preceded him in death. James was employed with Amoco Oil in Whiting, IN. He retired after 28 years of service. He was a member of the AMVETS.

Survivors include two daughters Lori (John) Edwards of North Aurora, IL and Christy Reznik of Indianapolis, IN; one son, Mark (Shannon) Reznik of Clinton, three grandchildren, Drew and Ryan Reznik and Ellie Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah, and his parents.
