Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Jones officiating.
THOMSON, Ill. — Vaughn E. McGinnis, 61, of Thomson, died Thursday at Freeport (Ill.) Health Network Memorial Hospital.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Sabula.
He was born March 25, 1945, in Savanna to Vaughn and Mary Nelson McGinnis.
He attended Thomson schools.
He worked in construction for many years.
He was a member of the local construction workers union.
Survivors include three nephews, three nieces; 15 great-nieces and great-nephews; and four great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
