Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church, Andover, and from 10 a.m. to the service time Monday.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Horst Hehr officiating. Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, is handling arrangements.

ANDOVER — Edith Joan Naeve, 72, of Andover, died Thursday at Bluff Terrace in Clinton.

Burial will be in Andover Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, LaRee and Joshua Krogman, Allison, Andrew and Adam Naeve, Randi and Austen Naeve and Tyler, Kelsey and Taylor Shipman.

She was born May 17, 1934, in Clinton, to Harry B. and Lola N. Swift Petersen. She married Allan Naeve on Nov. 6, 1954, at First United Methodist Church, Clinton.

She was a 1952 graduate of Fulton (Ill.) High School.

She began working for A.C. Nielsen in 1963 and retired as an executive secretary in 1990.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in 1956 where she taught Sunday School. She also was a member and had served as treasurer and vice president of Business and Professional Women.

Survivors include her husband; four children, Patricia (David) Krogman and Ray A. (Marcia) Naeve, both of Bryant, Russell Naeve of Camanche and Laura Shipman of Clinton; and 10 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
