CAMANCHE — Raymond G. Rannfeldt, 82, of Camanche, died Saturday at Mercy North Hospital.
Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Russell Hansen, Michael Capion, Joshua Grundall, Richard Simons and Jason and Brian Rannfeldt.
He was born Jan. 23, 1924, in Goose Lake to Henry and Lillian Lampe Rannfeldt. He married Caroline Jones on March 16, 1946, in Clinton. She died in 1999.
He worked with the City of Clinton’s Water Treatment Plant for more than 35 years before retiring in 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond “Butch” (Sandi) Rannfeldt of Reinbeck and Ralph (Cheryl) Rannfeldt of Argo Fay, Ill.; three daughters, Estelene Simons, Linda (Anthony) McGlynn and Patty (James) Capion, all of Camanche; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Williams of Clinton.
Memorials may be given to Mercy Home Care.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
