Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, with a vigil service at 5 p.m.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Vinton, with the Rev. Walter Kleinfehn officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Dyersville.
VINTON — Hilda Klostermann, 92, of Vinton, died Friday at Vinton Lutheran Home.
She was born May 30, 1914, in Balltown to John and Cecelia Link. She married Joe Klostermann on April 8, 1942, in Balltown. He died in 1978.
Survivors include one son, Robert (Janie) of Tama; one daughter, Marilyn (Craig) Canaday of Clinton; two brothers, John (Velma) Link and Ed (Carmelita) Link, both of Dubuque; one sister, Florence Ernzen of Dubuque; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild and two brothers.
