Camilla I. Weigandt

Camilla I. Weigandt, age 82, of Clinton, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton. A family service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Pape Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Horst Hehr officiating. Burial will be in Garden Plain Cemetery, Garden Plain, IL. Casket bearers will be family and friends of Camilla.

Camilla was born on February 3, 1924 in Clinton the daughter of Bert and Nellie Robinson Nichols. Camilla graduated from Fulton High School. She had worked at Jumer’s Castle Lodge in Bettendorf.

Camilla is survived by two daughters; Dottie (Smith) Gilmore of Clinton and Mary Weigandt Tillema of Texas; a grand daughter, Jenny Gilmore of Cedar Rapids; a sister Louise Drury of Garden Plain, IL and many nieces and nephews. Camilla was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bert, and a very special friend Jack E. Bueford. Memorials may be made to the Clinton Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
