Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. vigil at Lemke Funeral Homes, North Chapel, 2304 N. Second St, Clinton. The Rev. Jim Vrba will be officiating.
SERVICES: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Prince of Peace Parish, 2520 Pershing Blvd, Clinton.
BETTENDORF— Madalena “Maddie” Lieu Nguyen, 37, of Bettendorf, died Saturday.
She was born Feb. 9, 1969, in Vietnam to Tan and Ngu “Anna” Hoang Nguyen.
She graduated from Clinton High School in 1988. She graduated from St. Ambrose University in 1997 with a marketing degree.
She was director of La’ James College of Cosmetology.
She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish.
Survivors include her parents, Tan and Ngu “Anna” Hoang Nguyen of Clinton; two sisters, My Nguyen of Oklahoma City and Ngoan (Doan) Le of Galveston, Texas; two brothers, Tom (Nhi) Nguyen of Clinton and Tiep “Simon” (Huynh) Do-Nguyen of Oklahoma City; two nieces and seven nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
Death date: June 10, 2006
