SERVICES: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Elizabeth.
ELIZABETH, Ill. — Claire V. Meyer, 85, of Elizabeth, died Tuesday at Lakeland Health Care Center, Elkhorn, Wis.
The body will be cremated. Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Elizabeth.
She was born June 30, 1920, in New Diggins, Wis. She married Raynold Meyer on Feb. 18, 1943. He died in 1986.
She attended country school.
She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in Elizabeth for many years.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Lea (Larry) Fowler of Loves Park, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
