SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. June 21 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way, is in charge of the arrangements.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Allen Sword, 72, of Gainesville and formerly of Clinton, died June 3.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
He was born March 16, 1932, in Mount Carroll, Ill., to Earl and Mabel Ruth Dresbach Sword.
He attended Clinton schools.
He served in the United States Army.
He was employed with DuPont as an electrician.
Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Sword of Manassas, Va.; one son, Gary (Elizabeth) Sword of Williamsburg, Va.; two grandchildren; and one sister, Betty (Charles R.) Higbee of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
