Marian Kunavich funeral Thursday
The funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Prince of Peach Parish, St. Mary's Church, for Marian L. Kunavich, 73, of 336 21st Place, Clinton, who died Sunday in Samaritan North.
The Rev. Thomas Parlette will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, where a 4 p.m. prayer service will be conducted. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phillip and David Kunavich, Chad Babcock, Dan Krick and Tommy and Doug Orte.
Mrs. Kunavich was born Oct. 24, 1919, in Clinton, to Peter and Anna Ipsen Orte. She married Anton "Tony" Kunavich, July 15, 1940, in Clinton. She attended the Clinton Schools and was a homemaker. She was a life-long resident of the area and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Theresa Kunavich of LaCrescent, Minn. and Mrs. Dan (Ann) Krick of Camanche; two sons, Raymond A. of Harvard, Ill., and Robert L. of Clinton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Alice) Nelson of Clinton, Mabel Gibbs of Metairie, La., and Elizabeth "Bett" Robbins of Tampa, Fla.; and a brother Kenneth Orte of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
