Hilda C. Windman, 91, formerly of Muscatine, Welton and DeWitt, died on Friday, October 29, 1999 at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa.

She was born July 4, 1908 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of J.W.C. and Nellie Auls Henning.

She was united in marriage to Elmer G. Windman, September 9, 1930 in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 1986.

Hilda was a member of the United Methodist Church of DeWitt, the U.M.W. and Welton Township Homemakers.

She enjoyed crotcheting, sewing, and making quilts.

Survivors include a daughter, Wilma (Mrs. Alfred)Witt of Delmar; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Dusenberry, Mildred Knause and Dorothy Tiecke, all of Muscatine.

She was proceded in death by four brothers.
