Alberta Claseman

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, Fulton.

CLINTON — Alberta M. Claseman, 85, of Clinton, died Sunday at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton.

Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Lyons to Max and Emma Meyer Nave Sr. She married Jake Regenwether Jr. on July 1, 1939, in Clinton. He died in 1971. She later married Donald Claseman on May 12, 1973, in Clinton.

She worked as an Avon representative for more than 15 years. She also worked with Kmart and the Clinton School District before retiring in 1973.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She also was a member of the Fulton Country Club, Valley Oaks, Circle 4 Square Dance Club of Bettendorf, Lincoln Township Homemakers Club and Tag Along Trailer Club.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Marcia (Louis) Harmon of Clinton and Mrs. Linda (Bill) Bradley of Columbia, Tenn.; one son, Jake (Linda) Regenwether III of Ocala, Fla.; one stepson, David Claseman of Gillette, Wyo.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dolores Andersen of Clinton.

Memorials may be given to Mercy Hospice or the Alverno Health Care Facility.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and five sisters.
