Mrs. Marjorie L. Witt, 63, 1307 5th Ave. DeWitt, died Saturday at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt. The Rev. Walter S. Wendt of Davenport will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the McGinnis Funeral Home, DeWitt.

She was born Nov. 22, 1913, in Preston to Albert and Dora Ringen James. She married William Burken Oct. 27, 1938 in Clinton. He died in 1974. She married Ferd Witt June 26, 1975 in Lowden. Mrs. Witt, a DeWitt resident 34 years, was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

Surivors include her husband; five sons, John, Bernard, Leonard and Mark, all of DeWitt, and LaVerne, Bloomington, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and a brother, Lester James, Delmar.
