Mrs. Emma Feddersen, 82, of Eldridge, died Monday in Mercy Hospital in Davenport. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Runge Chapel in Davenport, with the Rev. C.H. Meyer of St. Mark Lutheran Church officiating.

Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel.

The former Emma Witt was born in Scott County April 1, 1893, the daughter of Henry and Magdalena Mohr Witt. She married Jens Feddersen in Davenport on Dec. 17, 1914. They farmed in Scott and Clinton Counties until 1958 when they moved to Eldridge. Mr. Feddersen died Oct. 9, 1963.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Alice) Kearney of Wheatland; five sons, Arnold of Dubuque, Harry and Robert, both of DeWitt, Ralph of Lost Nation, and Alvin of Eldridge; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ferd Witt of DeWitt; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Tillie) Cousins of DeWitt.
