Mrs. George R. (Blanche) Hansen, 77, of 406 N. 4th St. Clinton, died Sunday in Mercy Hospital.

The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. John B. McEniry officiating. A 9:30 a.m. family prayer service will be held at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Schmitz funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will include Raymond Dunn, A.J. Hansen, Leonard Dunlavey, Stan Thiesen, Harry Hansen and Paul Johnson.

Mrs. Hansen was born Nov. 26, 1893 in Goose Lake, the daughter of Thomas and Julia Crowe Farrell. She married Mr. Hansen, Feb. 18, 1914 in Bryant, Iowa. The couple had farmed in the Charlotte area until they retired in 1948 and moved to Clinton. She was a member of St. Patrick's Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Winifred Perion of Charlotte, Mrs. Gilbert (Pat) Haferbier and Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Langrehn, both of Clinton and Mrs. James (Carmilla) Nelson of Rochelle, Ill.; two sons, Thomas of DeWitt and Jack of Clinton; 25 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by a son, three sisters, two brothers, and a grandson.
