Peter E. Lamp, 84, a life resident of Clinton County, died Sunday in DeWitt Community Hospital.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt, with the Rev. Alfred O. Pautsch officiating. Burial will be in Ingwersen Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hanrahan Funeral Home, DeWitt.

Pallbearers will be Gary Schmidt, Roger Kleppe, Dean Marlowe, Emmett Machande, Peter J. Lamp and Harley Long.

Mr. Lamp was born Nov. 25, 1894, in Center Township, son of Henry and Catherine Schneckloth Lamp. He married Amelia Christensen Dec. 3, 1919, in Charlotte. They farmed until 1953 when they moved to DeWitt.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Lamp of Goose Lake and Henry Lamp of Charlotte; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Leola) Schmidt of Lost Nation; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
