Georgene LaBarr, 55, of Charlotte, died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital, Davenport.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte, with the Rev. Terry Ellis officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home, DeWitt. Burial will be in Rossiter Cemetery, Charlotte.
Pallbearers will be Mark and Kevin Marick, Dave Flynn, Craig Claussen, Maurice Butt and Darryl Banowetz.
Mrs. LaBarr was born March 30, 1937 in Davenport, to George "Jud" and Margaret Schader. She married David LaBarr, Jan. 5, 1956, in Charlotte. She was a graduate of Charlotte High School. She was a homemaker, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 715, Charlotte.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lori Leary of Clinton and Mrs. Kenny (Julie) Jurgess of Ruth, Mich.; a son David Jr. of Clinton; five grandchildren; her mother of DeWitt; and two sisters, Joan Bonow of Davenport, and Mrs. Chuck (Ann) Claussen of Goose Lake.
She was preceded in death by her father and a nephew.
