Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday at DeWitt United Methodist Church.
DEWITT — Alma Madeline Carstensen, 95, died Thursday, at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
Pallbearers will be Steve Forret, Joe McCaffrey, Steve Pethoud, Mark Bravermann, Dale Greve and Bill Fatchett.
She was born Dec. 27, 1910, in rural Low Moor, to Henry and Dora Aggar Schnepel. She married Harvey Smith on Nov. 20, 1933. He died in 1962. She married Harry Carstensen on April 9, 1967. He died in 1977.
She was a member of DeWitt United Methodist Church and the church circle, the DeWitt Historical Society, where she made scrapbooks, and the North Auxiliary Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Velma Forret of Wheatland; one son Robert (Edith) Smith of Clinton; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, two brothers and a sister.
Memorials may be made to Westwing Place, Genesis Hospice or DeWitt United Methodist Church.
