SERVICES: The Clinton Chapel of the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home is assisting the local family.
WHEATON, Ill. — Elizabeth Walliker Hickisch, 94, of Wyndemere Circle, Wheaton, died Wednesday.
Burial will be in the Rock Island (Ill.) Arsenal’s National Cemetery.
She was born April 21, 1911, to Dr. Wilbur M. and Lotta Walliker. She married Frank L. Hickisch on June 29, 1929.
She graduated from Clinton High School in 1928. She also attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
She lived in LaCrosse, Wis., for many years and later moved to Clinton. She was active with First Congregational Church and PEO Chapter JN. After her husband died, she moved to Plum Landing, Aurora, Ill., and later to Wyndemere Circle.
Survivors include two sons, Frank L. Hickisch Jr. of Wheaton and Charles W. Hickisch of McLean, Va.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Catherine Walliker of Clinton; one brother, Robert Walliker of Clinton; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
