MORRISON, Ill. — Hazel M. Johnson, 91, of the Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, died Tuesday at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, Ill.
Private interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
She was born Dec. 28, 1914, in Morrison to Charles and Irma Nowlen Ward. She married Edward J. Johnson on Nov. 26, 1940, in Morrison. He died in 1983.
She was educated at Hiddleson school and graduated from Morrison High School.
She and her husband were engaged in farming in rural Morrison.
She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Morrison, where she was treasurer of the Sunday school and guild.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine (Gary) Doden of Cortland, Ill., and Mrs. Nancy (Steven) Billups of Princeton, Iowa; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
