Visitation: There will be no visitation.

SERVICES: Private family services will be conducted. The Clinton Chapel of the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

THOMSON, Ill. — Ruth A. Truninger, 75, of Thomson, died Saturday at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.

She was born Aug. 24, 1930, in Dubuque to Harry and Frances Ellen O’Neal Brennan. She married Richard Truninger on Jan. 10, 1978, in Tipton.

She was a 1948 graduate of Savanna (Ill.) High School.

She was a purchasing agent with the Savanna Army Depot for many years. She and her husband also farmed near Thomson.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Thomson; two daughters, Sue Ellen Cauley of Fulton, Ill., and Marcia Leonard of Fulton; one son, Patrick Cauley of Savanna; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Rita (Vincent) Lounsberry of Springfield, Ill., and one brother, Harry (Imogene) Brennan of Fort Worth, Texas.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
